American MSC Environmental Policy
American MSC, Inc. is dedicated to protect the environment and prevent pollution within the means available while maintaining quality and productivity and wishes to demonstrate its good corporate citizenship by certifying and maintaining its environmental management program to the ISO 14001 (current version) environmental standard. In doing so, we pledge that we will comply with the regulations and requirements that our government, industry, customers, and other regulatory bodies require of us. We will consider the interests of our customers, employees, neighbors, and other stakeholders as we institute, maintain and continually improve our environmental management system. Our commitment toward establishing and achieving environmental objectives and targets is summarized in our regular, Management Review Team meeting minutes.
Interested outside parties may occasionally request specific information related to our environmental objectives, targets, aspects, or other areas. Those requests from governmental regulatory or enforcement agencies will be honored in the manner and time frame prescribed, of course. Those from other outside sources shall be documented, per procedure, and considered at our Management Review Team meetings. Following their consideration, all requests shall receive formal response from our appointed management representative.
In summary, our company’s environmental goals should be the “3C’s”: Cleanliness, Compliance and Continuous Improvement. I stand committed toward leading our company’s efforts in achieving them.
